Lori and Alex ,we just got back from Anna Maria Island we were there for a week it was so beautiful. we rented a 5 bedroom house and there were 10 of us it was so much fun.

Chuck was so interested in this pipeline it is pretty interesting when you see how they laid this pipe there is 800 miles of pipe some above ground and some underground , the above ground pipe has to be so many feet off the ground so that animals can pass under it and they went underground at some points because of creeks and small lakes , on the bigger lakes they built bridges for the pipe

Hello all that are following my blog, no entry yesterday we were flying and no pictures. but we are here now and it can be confusing when it doesn't get dark. we had dinner last night at 11.30pm and when we came out of the resturant there was a crew of men painting the building.........now think about that it was daylight at midnight. anyway we went to northpole,alaska this morning.

Yesterday we saw acres of corn and today we were in cattle country, now we are in high country in Wyoming, tomorrow we go into yellowstone. all of this country is so differant and yet so beautiful.

No pictures today.. we went to 2 baseball games Steven's team the Mokena Thunder won both it was really great to see him and his dad play ball.our friends Lori and Kevin came to watch the games and see us we haven't seen them for a long time. they are always the same , funny how some friendships are like that tomorrow we head west. really sorry to leave Steven.

Thats what I call these people.. Darlene and Chuck are ALWAYS jumping in the car and driving somewhere. Sometimes Its just accross the coast to see their daugher, or up to the panhandle to see their other daugher.. but sometimes, like this summer, its accross the country, and into a forgein land!
